Intuitive Thinking: The Language of Intuition

When we first come to the planet we undergo the process of developing and evolving language skills to communicate with those around us finding new ways to express ourselves. With intuition we undergo a similar process... you need to learn the language and ideally you want to be able to express it to others. Think of a composer of music who arranges the notes and creates beautiful harmonies expressing himself through his language of music.
Our senses are comprised of the five well-known ones, and by this time, most agree that intuition is the sixth sense. Although it is an innate sense within each of us, understand that in some, the shape and form will be a little cruder, and in others it will be more highly developed. This sixth sense is hardwired into each and every being on the planet. However, there does come a time, a sort of coming of age, when we must learn and develop our own unique approach and manner to deciphering the language.
To fully use our intuitive abilities we need to discover and learn our own specific language of intuition, and like our own DNA, the coding of our own intuitive language may vary greatly. You learn how to translate the information into a code structure that can be used to filter and interpret the information into a useable commodity. The language of intuition is the form used to identify and decipher the codes.
To move forward first we must look back and acknowledge the past, where we came from and how it helps to build our foundation. Your history is partly comprised of the environment that you grew up in; whether it was a nurturing, stable and a caring environment that allowed you to acknowledge and embrace your abilities creating a space that gave you the room to grow and develop these abilities.
Or whether you grew up in a closed, unsupportive, perhaps even chaotic, environment where one of the main goals was to survive the situation you were in. There may have been no understanding and little to no acknowledgement of any abilities you possessed. These abilities might not have been able to surface in a conscious way, but perhaps in the mayhem you were surrounded by, you were able to cultivate these abilities as part of your survival skills and are now able to hone and develop these skills in a much more conscious and aware manner.
Wherever your roots lie need not matter. It is just the springboard that will allow you to take flight and soar beyond any imagined boundaries that have been put in place. So, how do you get from here to there? How do you soar or at the very least take a leap of faith?
We're going to approach this process in a step-by-step manner, so that you have a foundation to flow from.
STEP ONE: Attaining Stillness
Accessing the peace and quiet within. In the beginning, we may only be able to access this for moments until we have more fully developed our focus and concentration to hold on to it longer.
STEP TWO: Neutrality
Developing the ability to have a 'neutral zone' that you can easily slide in and out of. The neutrality we are talking about is a state inside that you access. It is not an emotionally reactive state but rather a calm, non-judgmental place. This process always follows step one since you cannot be neutral without having achieved some level of inner stillness and calmness.
STEP THREE: Tuning In
Switch over to tuning from external stimuli to tuning into internal stimuli. Watch and listen for signals and information. It's about developing recognition in your internal software where you develop and implement an inner scanner to pick up anything that comes across your radar screen.
STEP FOUR: Translating
Learn how to filter and translate the information that you are receiving into useable data. As we start to translate from one language into another, from one realm into another, translating the signs, we continually refine our skills and expand our abilities.
STEP FIVE: Trust
Developing trust. A belief in yourself, the universe, the process. Allowing the moment to unfold and not trying to control the outcome. Aligning to all that has been and all that will be, the stronger your trust and faith and belief then the stronger your ability to create a powerful cosmic connection.
